On July 9, 2010, Obama Administration officials held a public meeting of the Interagency Climate Change Adaptation Task Force at the Imin Conference Center, University of Hawaii at Manoa.  Hawaii and the Pacific had an opportunity to voice their thoughts, questions, and concerns regarding the climate change impact and express federal development efforts already in progress to the senior members of the Obama Administration.

UH-TIPG/PEACESAT supported this event by providing live video conference connections from the Imin Conference Center at the University of Hawaii to UH/Hilo, American Samoa Power Authority (ASPA) Tafuna, the Saipan Public School System (PSS), the University of Guam, Kauai Community College, and Maui Community College.  UH-TIPG/PEACESAT also provided a live webcast of the conference in real time via the internet to allow individuals to conveniently watch the conference from their own computer.
